C.C. Sabathia wins the AL Cy Young award, I'm shocked that it didn't go to Josh Beckett. Even more shocking is that Sabathia won it by a comfortable 119-86 margin and getting 19 first place votes to Beckett's 8.

C.C. is getting a ton of credit for throwing an extra 40 innings during the regular season, maybe that's why he was so bad in the playoffs.

I don't understand Kevin Love the freshman for UCLA. He in no way looks like he should be a stud basketball player, I really think it his perfectly groomed beard, but that could be just me. Either way, he's been excellent for the Bruins dropping 21.5 points on average in his first two games. UCLA is one of my favorites this year as they make a run for a 3rd straight Final Four.
